Tim Brooks - Drums

Tim bgean playing the drums at age 11. He started out playing pubs and clubs and by the age of 17 was playing festivals with the Afro-Sokah band 'Carramba'. He has also played with the Chandos Symphony orchestra and co-wrote a musical at the age of 18.

Tim studied at the ACM in Guildford as well as with some of the country's top players such as Pete Riley (Republica) and Mark Richardson (Feeder). He has also played on stage with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. As well as working with Up4Grabs, Tim records and tours with Longview and works on sessions in both the UK and Europe. He uses DW drums, Remo heads, Zildjian cymbals and sticks, Protection Racket cases, Audix microphones and Roland electronics.
